About the AMFANS Foundation

The AMFANS Foundation exists to break down financial and other systemic barriers so children, families and athletes can experience the joy of sports — as players, as fans, and as part of a connected community.

Many of us are blessed with the ability to play the sports we love, attend games, and have access to facilities, coaches and equipment. But many of us need some help getting in the game and bearing the ever-rising cost of participating in sports.

So we created The American Sports Fans (“AMFANS”) Foundation in 2024 for sports lovers like you who want to help others.  We make sports more affordable for American families by supporting amazing sports-related charities who make sports more accessible and enjoyable for families and young athletes, and promote mental health in sports.

Sports unite us, build communities, and promote both physical and mental health in ways nothing else can.  American sports enthusiasts are 200 million strong and have the economic and cultural power to create meaningful change.  Please join us in making sports within reach for everyone.
